Post Modernist Gypsy

If gypsies' chariot is turned into mini SUV, huts into concrete walls, and long baggy drappery maxi skirt is replaced by denim, guess this is how modern gypsy would wear on her venture conquering new city.

In her passage, she'll encounter unpleasant people who despise, look down, and talk bad behind her back. Along with the triple faces pricks she'll meet in almost everywhere. 'Beware', she said into her heart.

Bringing her one and only weapon to rule her world: a smile. One wide smile is always lethal for bad-day and ugly-hearted people.

Heyyo.

So I've been inspired lately by 90's getho chic. I think this sort of style screams out some sort of mexican girls' attitude, and me likey! ;p

Well, coz talking about attitude, I think it's the most important 'piece' of fashion ever! I mean, how gorgeous you are with your clothes and all, with bad attitude you're just a burf! If you don't know what that means, burf is a combination between burp and barf. That's how yucky one can be with bad attitude. Lol. (trust me, they're so yuck you're gonna gag. I met one last weekend. :s)

So guess we have to wear our best attitude today and everyday! One way to wear it, smile as much as you can! Even you'll look like a retard somehow, just f*** it and smile. :))) Look how kind you are to your world around you. And you'll receive only kindness as feedback to what you've been giving out.
I know. I sound so hippie and high. But you can't argue with me on this.

Remember people, good attitude. Good attitude. :)

Damn Skippy!

It's really hard to juggle all four things at the same time. Like my job, my L.I.N.F project, my freelancing things, and this little blog. But damn skippy! I know I can do it!

So this was one of my daily look at office. As some of you may know, I work for a fashion retail company here in my city, and one of the best part of it is that I can wear almost everything to work. Like, literally everything. From (not too short) short with some tights covering up the legs, to even, cropped top! Well, not most employee get that privilege to dress as they want to their office. And I'm glad I can. My first ever boss once told me that I'm the kinda person who never would want to dress neat with collar and blazer things to the office- or other neat preppy look. And he's totally right! I am, actually. I never work in any place that requires me to dress in certain outfit rules, and never I will.

Er, enough about my fun job. ;p So I got this ah-maze-balls aztec print tank from PERSUNMALL. I can tell since I first laid eyes on it that it's gonna be my new fave. I'm currently quite obsess with black, and this top really suits my hippie-grunge style, don't you agree?

I got the shirt on a small local thrift shop for only $2. And the rest, well you could see the credit below. Click on the link to shop what I wear on this post. ;)

Call Me Magenta

So, surprise! :D

Finally I dyed my whole head- well practically my hairstylist did. And they're changing color everyday. At first it was more red-ish magenta, and now it turns pink-ish magenta. I'm keeping the length because I thought it'd add up a whole dramatic silhouettes on me, and mostly to my outfit.

Enuf about my hair, I'm quite happy that my office has moved out to another address, despite it's quite double the traffic and the distance. The happy part I was talking about is the available free lot to shoot my outfit photos. As you can see in this pots- and I believe in more posts to come, it's actually the empty lot just in front of the (office) building's lobby. Thanks to my blogger mate turned to colleague, Lulut Marganingtyas, we become each other's photographer and do this outfit shoot around the building quite often.

Strawberry Toes

Ola, hermosas!

I'm on fire for blogging lately! ;D So a couple of weeks ago, I received this lovely strawberry-red capped toe heels from The Lola House. It's just an instant love on the first sight! I love the unique-sweet round look upfront and the girly silhouette on other sides of the shoes. It suits well with my eclectic-girly look! Oh and I should tell you that the shoes is amazingly hand crafted in finest quality! From the moment I receive the gift (from a very lovely lady of The Lola House) up until I open the box, it was a total perfection! I'm a bit perfectionist myself, and I just admire people who puts attention to details. :)) Make sure you click on their webstore and have one of their totally comfortable and adorable pieces! Here's my other Lola love, CLICK.

Since the color is so bright and happy, I paired the shoes with my DIY lips-knee tights and mix prints between heart prints cut-out bralet with red starry skirt from Lodelis (psttt, this is a new label coming up soon! You gonna love it!!). And you guys know that I always left home without accessories, right? I think it's never came out wrong if we pair tights with wide floppy hat for a slight vintage-inspired look. ;D

I will spill the beans about this DIY tights recipe on the next post, so I hope you guys would drop by again for my new DoodleItYourself (DIY) series! ;)

And this Thank You note from The Lola House goes out from me to you.. :)
