Hey you guys!

Hm. So I've been caught up with this hatred toward people who steals one's idea. Now that I know those hatred won't do me any good, so here I am trying to release it out by sharing this with you.

It's r-e-a-l-l-y sucks if someone 'steals' your opportunity. It sucks because you realised you're so stupid that you let other people own that opportunity which initially, supposedly to be yours at the first place. You either act so slow, so lazy, or just having lack of eagerness to earn that opportunity. I'm talking about idea, creation, and any such that comes from your brain here- not the situation/condition types of opportunity.

Well, we all should know this. WE ARE ALL A THIEF OF OUR OWN. There's no new things going on this earth, and we surely just go on and remaking things that has or already exist before. Then there's no such thing called genuine, you may ask? Oh hell sure there is! The ingenuity comes from how you 'tweak' things when you're trying to replicate things existed before & make it your own, and how it may seems different and new even though, once again, it actually have been existed before. See, the 'how' involving your brain to think of what to re-create, instead of just rawly duplicating other's ideas.

Some people, sadly, are lazy enough to think more about how to tweak and make something seemingly new out of what's actually an existed idea, and that makes them... simply a followers. And to me, those kind of people is just an ankle biter. :)

I've once read, REPLICATE, NOT DUPLICATE. I couldn't agree more on that.

I honestly don't think I've said enough what's on my mind about this, but I should stop it right here before you guys un-following me and stop reading this blog coz I talk (or write) to much. ;p

Oh and I wonder what do you guys think about this (not the outfit this time). Please do comment below if you don't mind. :))

Anyway, gotta tell you this, I have dozens of dress craving in ZALORA.co.id ! You guys should go thru their new arrivals, KEI&KORI and EZRA are my favo!!

See? I kept my promise to post (quite) soon enough, right? ;p

So how's you mid week guys? Mine's pretty vibrant, thank God! Anyway, I re-wear this outfit, which is what I wore on Wakai Mad (fashion) Show many weeks ago. Back then I didn't have the chance to take few decent shots for an outfit post, so here I was. Better late than never huh? Oh, and you will notice something's missing from my outfit if you read (and see the photos) till the very end. I also got featured on this outfit back at the event by Jakarta Style Journal. Yay for that!

So yep, that's what I wear on the mad show. It was entirely MAD, with capitals, to be exact. I'm so proud to be a part of the crazy ass team with their gazillion creative ideas. Cheers for WAKAi.

Retro Cat

Heyyy, it's reaaaaaly been a year since my last post. My goodness!! I should recant my station in the blog sphere, I suppose. :((

But if I can have another chance, I'd like to share few things with you as an opening post of this, what I called as, polkadance year of 2013. Guess what, here'r things that revolve around me since new year:
- I'm still working as a Content/Fashion Editor on my retail company, and I love my job
- I got featured and Rated Stylish on GoGirl! Magazine, January 2013 Edition.
- I got to meet some new local blogger friends
- I think I need a raise
- I lost weight and chubby cheek (kinda) since early year
- Made some new interesting friends abroad and promise each other to visit our country someday soon
- Still juggling time (and mind) between work, projects (my second jobs), and life- and blog of course
- I got new sponsor for my outfit post: House of Classyc - worn on this post. YAY!
- I got another photo-session and featured on local Fashion Magazine (can't tell you yet, but just can't waiittttt for it)
- Can't wait to seat on a row in Indonesia Fashion Week '13


I owe this blog so many posts, so my last-but-not-least thing on list would be: I need to blog more. :)

Oh my. You have no idea how great it is to be back on posting!! Whuftt.. :))

Ok now to be completely honest with you, I took this outfit photos like, last month. It's been pouring here in my town since early November, so I always bring along my umbrella literally everywhere I go. Instead, I do have at least 2 umbrella with me- one in my car and one in my bag. You know, you won't look chic if you're like a wet cat right? lol.

Now now, about my outfit.  So last month I saw this cute whimsical dress online and just a snap I fell in love with it right away. Since I've been  obsessed with 80s (not 90s) grunge look, which you guys probably already noticed from my previous posts, I tried to pair the grunge with the sweet look of the dress. Also that time my Asos tatoos tight was just arrived, so those were practically my fave stuffs I bought of the month. ;p

Oh and, recently I got featured on two Home Pages of amazing web magazines. One from France, called Marc et Léon. And the other one is a local web magazine that you all (who lives in the same country as I am) probably very familiar with, GoGirl Magz.com. Yay!! I'm beyond thankful for each one of them, for the opportunity and recognition to this personal style blog.

Lady Rock and Roll

Hi and hellow!

Wow, been a while. Again. I've been juggling a lot of things in my mind, and my hands, recently, and one of them was moving out and moving in to my new apartment. Yay! I'm super excited to decorating my new room- for that I might bring you into a grand tour to my room someday, once it's done. ;p

Apart from being busy bee, I actually have some announcement to make: I've been 'partnering' with my bestie and open up an Online Clothing Store, full of a highly curated and hand-picked selection of fashion clothing! ;D We named it LODELIS. It's actually both of our nick name be put together- Lode + Lis. To tell you the truth, it was really really hard to find a name that represent our personality and style for that online clothing store, but there it goes. :) I hope you don't mind to drop a click HERE, and hit the Like button. :)) I'd be much much appreciate that.

Sooo, I've been admiring the 80's grunge and rockin' style since forever. And as you know it, those particular style is climbing up to the top of the trend list as sooo many brands embracing the looks. Oh, and this is the first appearance to my ever favorite JC shoes. ;) Ordered it for the first time from Villains SF Bangkok, and arrived at my door just a week after I ordered. Def recommended for you who are living in Indonesia and wanted to buy Jeffrey Campbell shoes. :))

Oh, and it was really amazing to know some of you guys through your comments about 'your kinda song' on my previous post. And actually, I downloaded several songs mentioned on that comments list and I created new playlist for my working anthem at office! ;p Also from previous post, I received lots of question about my nailart. Thank you so much for the kind compliments, and I would def post the DIY tutorial to make that nailart on your own on my future posts! Just wait and see.. ;D
